Did the drop down options appear? Some computers don’t read our java script, these computers are usually Mac’s, or if you are on a dial up it just may not have loaded, try hitting refresh. I hope to get this issue conquered, though it seems to affect only a select few... please contact us if you need help. My cart will only hold one item at a time, can you help me?
I can try, it’s usually the security settings, make sure your browser is set to accept cookies, if this doesn’t help it may be your firewall. If that doesn’t help we can find another way to get your order... please contact us if you need help. Do you take orders over the phone?
Yes, but I prefer not too for security purposes. When you order online everything is transmitted through a secure server. I firmly believe online ordering is every bit as safe as phone orders or in store purchases. We are a small business, only two of us do all the work, not being tied to the phone frees us to serve you more efficiently. If you absolutely prefer to order over the phone we can make an exception, contact us. Can I mail you my order? Yes, it’s best to e-mail us & let us know which styles you plan to purchase so we can hold them for you, we’ll hold them 14 days, after that we’ll assume you changed your mind and put them back out to be sold we accept money orders, checks (order will be sent when check clears) or cash (send at your own risk).
Make sure your letter has the items you want and your mailing address. Mail to this address. Can I pay with Paypal? Yes, it’s best to email us first to confirm quantities on hand & order total:
We don’t use their shopping cart system because I prefer the merchant account I already have in use. Do you sell wholesale? No, we are a small business that sells retail only, but this could change as we are growing. Can you send me a catalog? We don’t currently print a catalog,
and due to the cost of the paper & ink it would take to do it nicely we don’t plan to anytime soon. So, no, we can’t send you one. I see you’re in Portland, do you have a store I can visit? we are an online only shop while we do have a retail license we are not zoned or insured for walk in customers at this time. Where did you get those cool shoes/boots?
I have picked up most of my shoes & boots second hand at vintage shops & thrift stores. By the way, this is one of my MOST asked questions... especially regarding the black Mary Janes with three straps (I’m told Ebay is a good place to look). Where are the size options? Generally the styles are a “one size fits most” as this is the main way they are available to me.
I add more specific information to the style’s page if I have any. Sock sizing is an odd thing, after all these years I still don’t have it figured out... when a label says 9-11 they don’t mean shoe size. This range is intended to fit US women’s shoe sizes 4-13 or something close to that, but we all know that isn’t true. Then there’s the range that covers your height & weight, but everybody is built differently so this is not much help either.
Just remember that most socks are pretty stretchy and common sense goes a long way. If you have questions about a specific style feel free to write & I’ll do my best to answer. Do you have socks for men? many of the styles are truly unisex, bootsocks, velvet thigh highs, stripes, cashmere, cloudtreks, leg warmers, wool, long socks, sweater socks, midcalves, toesocks & tights. The rest are up to you... Style is in the eye of the beholder, wear what you enjoy & enjoy what you wear. And finally... Will you send me your dirty/smelly/used socks? first of all, my socks never stink, second & above all, our insurance providers don’t want us doing that, besides, it’s just not something I’m comfortable with. |
