if you carefully cut holes where your fingers should go these make great fingerless gloves.
I made it so the toe seam runs along my knuckles, with hands in the socks so I could tell where my fingers would be comfortable then I snipped once through each finger’s spot. With long sleeves it looks like the ruffles are a part of the shirt.
