So you want to know a little more about Me & why I’m here?
I got the idea for this site on June 6 1999 when I noticed a lack of truly interesting & fun sock specific sites while pondering my own future in the work force. I am one of those constantly cold people, so socks have always been very important to me and the warmth of my toes.
After considerable thought
& planning I launched this site & started accepting credit cards online in August of 2000, since then business has steadily increased.
You may notice that I interchangeably use us, we, Me & I...
“us” seems to be the common internet lingo on business websites, I try to use terms people will readily recognize & this one sometimes seems most appropriate for my needs, i.e. “contact us”, you see this & know this is not necessarily a fly by night operation,
“we” refers
to there being more input on this site than my own ~ my partner, my family, my friends, my visitors, my suppliers, ect...
“Me” is how I frequently refer to the site itself, this site is an entity. She is like my child, I conceived her, I nurture her, I look after her & I love helping her grow & mature,
“I” am a sock loving female with many years of actual retail & management experience.
I take most of the photos, sometimes with the help of a tripod & remote shutter
release. Also I’ve been helping my partner develop photographic skills so we can get a broader variety of interesting shots. I’m growing more comfortable with everyone knowing that, yes, these photos are of me. I am a generally shy person. This site was never intended to fetishize the actual me the individual. It’s a catchy name with great meaning that teases at the sexual aspect of feet & socks, and like they say, sex sells, so I do use it to my advantage for advertising purposes.
I still maintain employment with a wonderful local company as an occasional and now spend most of my time working at home on all things sock related. My partner (who has always been a huge inspiration in the development of this site) is head of our packaging & shipping duties.
We don’t have a huge budget so most of our sales go directly back to the business to acquire more socks & more styles and the proper equipment to store & display everything to maximize sales.
Our first print ad came out last August and ever since we’ve been busily warming more feet than ever around the world.
If you come visit and this site doesn’t load it’s not because we’re gone, more likely our server is rebooting or doing maintenance, try again in an hour & everything should be fine.
I try to keep the site organized in a way that makes it easy for people to find what they need.
the main page is our store front, simple & to the point. From there you only have 7 basic options to choose from, they will get you everywhere you need to go to see & buy our socks.
We also have other foot related items that are easy to find once you step into these pages.
If you visit often I suggest you check the newest items page as I update it often with information about new products & my sock journal, I update it often, sometimes daily, often mentioning the latest arrivals, interesting sock bits & more...

There are at least 100 pages here to explore...
over 40 of them are devoted to displaying over 100 different socks, thigh highs & tights.
